I love the Ogden! The venue is tiered nicely, making it easier to stake your claim and find your friends. Drinks are reasonably priced. The sound is usually good. There is an upstairs with a bar and some stools (and plenty of standing room) that has quite nice views. My only complaint is that it's sometimes oversold, and like any oversold venue, those shows get croooooowded and can suck. All in all, great medium/small venue!

I had never been to the Ogden before, so I'm chalking this up to a learning experience. I saw Duran Duran. Decent sound, but if you're a heavy drinker who doesn't mind throwing your elbows, spilling your drink on others, and constantly stomping on other's feet, you'll have a great time. For me, though, it was like Night At The Roxbury. I'd have to seriously love a band playing there to go back to this venue... or just start drinking.
